Wisconsin Paper Group, Inc., parent of WPG Shippers Association is pleased to announce the guest speaker for its 77th Annual Meeting. Tom Buchholz of the Wisconsin Department
of Transportation will give an overview and update on the US Highway 41 Project. Tom is a Project Manager for this large-scale improvement and expansion of Highway 41.
US 41 is a 200-mile stretch of highway connecting two crucial economic regions in Wisconsin: southeastern Wisconsin and the Fox Valley. Construction work on the US 41 Project
will span over 17 miles of highway in Winnebago County from 2009-2014, and 14 miles in Brown County from 2010-2017. The construction includes: traffic lanes expanded from four to six-ten lanes; 16 US 41 interchanges improved, with 13 of those interchanges completely rebuilt; 44 roundabouts added; 17 traffic cameras installed along US 41; and an eight-lane Lake Butte des Morts Causeway. This project represents a significant step forward for Wisconsin and its economy.

| Neenah, WI - During today's Annual Meeting of the Wisconsin Paper Group, Inc., held at its Corporate Headquarters in Neenah, Wisconsin, WPG management announced there would be no rate increase in services provided for its membership in 2010. Wisconsin Paper Group, Inc. is the parent company of WPG Shippers Association. Tom has an extensive management and executive background, including with companies such as Banta Corporation and RR Donnelley. He has also been active with many trade, industry and government associations and has been recognized nationally for his accomplishments. The Wisconsin Paper Group was formed in 1934 when a group of paper mill executives met to discuss the mutual benefits of a shipper?s association to reduce transportation cost and improve service. For over 74 years the WPG has continued to support the transportation needs of its members with value-added services. |
